About Husky Athletic Booster Club.
Our Board is made up of hard-working individuals working together for a common goal. The individuals listed below have volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces and feel free to ask them any questions you might have.
2026-2027 Board
Melissa Martini, President
Melissa is serving her second term as President this school year. Her two sons attend Tuscarora and are student athletes. One is a Senior who has played football for his entire high school career. The other is a Freshman who will join the football team, as well as swim and lacrosse. Melissa is a huge supporter of athletics, clubs and the arts because of what these programs can do for students!
Adrianne (AJ) Moffitt, Vice President
AJ is serving her second term on the board, moving from Secretary to Vice President. As a parent of a senior on the Tuscarora baseball team, and an 8th grader at Smarts Mill, she is excited to support the athletics and clubs community.
Cheryl Wiehn, Treasurer
Cheryl is continuing on the board for her fourth year serving as Treasurer. She is a proud THS mom of three sons—two of whom are now at Virginia Tech after running track and cross country at THS, and her youngest, a sophmore, is gearing up for his second season with the football team. Supporting our student-athletes and giving back to the THS community has been such a rewarding experience for her, and she is excited for another great year ahead!
Adam Barron, Secretary
Adam is proud to be joining the HABC board as a first term Secretary in 2026-27. He has two daughters involved in sports and academics at Tuscarora High School. One will be a junior with three letters to her name (2x Field Hockey, 1x Lacrosse). The other will be a Freshman who will be playing Basketball, Field Hockey, and Track. Adam and his wife are big sports fans who dedicate large portions of their time to the pursuit of excellence in athletics.
Amanda Compton, Membership & Publicity
Amanda is thrilled to serve as the Membership and Publicity chair for the HABC, bringing a lifelong passion for sports to the community. As a former high school and college athlete, she knows firsthand how transformative youth and collegiate sports can be, which fuels her dedication to supporting local programs. The Tusky athletic program is truly a family affair for Amanda; her husband is the Varsity Assistant Coach of the football team, and they are the proud parents of two incoming freshmen. This year she will be cheering on her kids from the sidelines as one takes the field for the football team and the other plays flag football and softball. Combining her athletic background with her personal investment in the programs, Amanda is committed to elevating the Tusky brand and celebrating every student-athlete's success.
Michelle Forlini, Member at Large
Michelle is serving her fourth term on the HABC board. She has a Senior daughter who is on the Tuscarora swim team and also plays in the Chamber orchestra. Her seventh grade son attends Smarts Mill and is an avid baseball player. After serving 5 years on the CLYFL board , Michelle is equipped with what it takes to serve the THS HABC!
