Our Board is made up of hard-working individuals working together for a common goal. The individuals listed below have volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces and feel free to ask them any questions you might have.
2023 - 2024 Board
Christie Opauski, President
Christie steps into the President role after serving two terms as Secretary on the HABC board. She has 1 graduate of Tuscarora and a current Junior that have been active on the football teams. Christie is a BIG fan of all Tuscarora sports and has been cheering loudly since the school first opened!

Cheryl Wiehn, Treasurer
After stepping in to help with concessions for the 2022-2023 year, Cheryl is now an "official" member of the board. She has 1 graduate of Tuscarora (2022), one senior at Tuscarora and one in middle school at Smarts Mill. Both of her older children have been active in Tuscarora's Cross Country and Track teams. Cheryl also assists Melanie Gibson as a Team Parent for the cross country and track teams.
Melanie Gibson, Secretary
Melanie is entering her third term on the Husky Athletic Booster Club board! She has 2 graduates from Tuscarora, 2020 & 2022, and will have one graduating this year. All 3 of her children have been active in Tuscarora's Cross County and Track teams. Additionally, Melanie serves as the Team Parent for the cross country and track teams and is integral in keeping those teams running smoothly!

Michelle Forlini, Member at Large
Michelle is serving her first term on the HABC board. New to Tuscarora, she has a freshman daughter that plays in the Chamber orchestra and third grader attending Leesburg Elementary School. After serving 5 years on the CLYFL board , Michelle is eager to get involved at THS!
